The SMART Scholarship Program offers STEM students a unique opportunity to receive full tuition, annual stipends, internships, and guaranteed employment with the Department of Defense upon graduation. This Scholarship-for-Service initiative caters to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students pursuing STEM degrees, providing hands-on experience at Department of Defense facilities in 24 STEM disciplines. With applications open annually from August 1 to December 1, SMART aims to build future leaders in cutting-edge technology fields such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and cybersecurity.
