By bringing together prominent universities committed to supporting rural students, the network provides a one-stop resource for information, resources, and support to help these students navigate the college admissions process and succeed in higher education. The network recognizes that rural students are a vital part of the diverse tapestry of American education and that supporting their success benefits not only the students themselves but also the campuses and communities they will go on to shape.

For some people, pursuing higher education can be the best way to invest in the future. A degree can help you find a career you love with a higher salary, benefits, a work-life balance, and more. However, getting a degree is an investment and an expensive one at that. According to a U.S. News and World Report article, the average annual tuition costs are $10,338 for in-state public universities, $22,698 for out-of-state public universities, and $38,185 for private universities.
