DHEDF to launch a Pre-K thru 12 Aerospace STEM Pathway Pilot Project with Mohave Valley School District#16
Dee Howard International Education Foundation (DHEDF) is pleased to announce that Mohave Valley School District #16(MVESD#16)[a DHEDF Rural STEM Initiative Participating School District in Mohave Valley, Arizona]has agreed to participate in a pilot program with DHEDF( in collaboration with others).The goal of the pilot project is to deliver resources to MVESD#16 virtually covering the topics listed on the DHEDF Participating Schools Search Engine as MVESD#16 may request to implement a DHEDF Pre-K thru 12 Aerospace STEM Pathway. The results of the pilot project will be posted in the DHEDF Membership Section as they become available. NAU Rural Leadership Cohort: A Principal Pathway Cohort Designed for Aspiring Rural School Leaders!
In order to meet the needs of schools in rural communities, NAU will offer their MEd with Principal Cert & their Graduate Certificate with Principal Cert, with special emphasis and recruitment aimed at rural communities across the U.S.
This program is specially designed for aspiring school leaders around the U.S. Classes will be online with Wednesday evening zoom meetings during the school year. Students can earn their principal certification within one year (if they already have a master’s degree), or a master’s plus principal certification in 1 ½ years. Classes will be taught by current and former rural school leaders who know exactly what it’s like to be an educational leader in rural communities.

The Research Experience for Teachers (RET) Program offers funded research opportunities to Community College & High School Teachers in the research areas funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation. The U.S. NSF HAND ERC is on a mission to revolutionize the future of work through robotic dexterity. Our RET program invites motivated teachers to join us in tackling one of today’s most pressing challenges: augmenting human labor with advanced robotic technologies to enhance productivity, job quality, and workplace safety. Participants will be trained to develop experimental research skills while gaining knowledge of advanced science and technology concepts and career paths for their students.
