DHEDF Announces the launch of the Georgia Howard Culinary Arts Initiative

Dee’s wife of 60+ years, Georganna Howard (affectionally known as Georgia) was a kind and decent person who was passionate about her family (both personal and Dee’s employees) and cooking. Georgia was a great cook and had a fantastic country style kitchen at home in which to cook in while at the same time being supportive of Dee and an integral part of both Howard Aero, Inc. and The Dee Howard Co.

To honor Georgia and in furtherance of the DHEDF Mission, Dee Howard International Education Foundation is pleased to announce that it has established the Georgia Howard Culinary Arts Initiative to support Pre-K -12 Culinary Arts in general and to expose the students to the role that culinary arts plays in both Civil and Military Aviation as well as the human exploration of space. As with all DHEDF Initiatives, the Georgia Howard Culinary Arts Initiative will primarily be focused on Title I and Rural Schools.

DHEDF is pleased to announce that it has launched this Initiative in the following school districts in San Antonio: North East ISD (NEISD), Judson ISD, and Southwest ISD (SWISD) and looks forward to the opportunity to expand this Initiative to our national initiatives. We are grateful to our school district partners for their collaboration.
